" A National Ageing Policy through which support to the Aged was determined existed. Cash transfer to the Aged began in 2014; but has not been regular. It took place in 2020/2021 in the aftermath of COVID; and largely ceased leading up to 2023."
The resumption of cash transfer to the Aged at the mid-term represents progress; but that cannot be described as drastic. The cash transfer initiative which began in 2014; depends significantly on donor support.
